Story:
After a shipwreck leaves an infant orphaned on the African coast, a grieving gorilla who just lost her own baby decides to raise the human child as one of her own, defying her mate’s open hostility toward keeping him. The boy grows up convinced he belongs to the ape family that took him, mastering the jungle around him despite never quite fitting the body he was born into. Everything changes when a research expedition arrives in the same stretch of forest, bringing him face to face with other humans for the first time and a woman who makes him question which world he actually belongs to. As he grows closer her, a member of the expedition pursuing his own hidden agenda threatens to destroy the only family Tarzan has ever known, forcing him to choose between two lives he cannot fully have at once.
