Story:
After losing his family to a sudden attack, an anxious clownfish named Marlin raises his only son with one rule above all others: never stray far from home. That caution backfires the moment his son swims out past the reef to prove a point and is scooped up by a diver, vanishing into the open ocean within seconds. Marlin sets off after him with no plan and no experience beyond his own backyard, picking up a scatterbrained companion along the way who barely remembers her own name from one moment to the next. Meanwhile, the missing son is plotting his own escape from a fish tank, learning that bravery looks different than he expected.
